Одной из задач, на которые подписали срочно созданный по заказу военных «самолет повышенной проходимости» U-10 Super Courier была психологическая война(ранее мы уже писали об одной из таких операции получившей название “Блуждающая душа”. прим. редакции). Самолет как нельзя лучше подходил для выноса мозга противнику, потому что сочетал в себе невысокую стоимость летного часа, сравнительно низкий уровень шума (не мешающий работе громкоговорителей) с нетребовательностью к аэродромам при минимальной цене обслуживания.

При этом он был достаточно малогабаритным и бодрым в маневре, чтобы уклоняться от огня с земли, если вьетконговцы сильно обидятся. Конечно, капать на мозги противнику и даже читать ему новости летали и другие машины (некоторые с живыми вьетнамскими переводчиками на борту), но U-10 показали себя на их фоне очень неплохо из-за своих небольших размеров и возможности безнаказанно летать на относительно малых высотах, откуда разборчивость речи была выше.

Службу машины несли в составе 6-го батальона психологических операций, совершая вылеты над территорией противника с записанными на вьетнамском языке короткими аудиопрограммами (короткими — чтобы обрабатываемые услышали ее целиком, а не так, чтобы только заинтересовались, а самолет уже улетел) и, конечно, пачками листовок, для закрепления эффекта.

Над территориями на которых не велись боевые действия машины использовались и в качестве системы новостного вещания — в этом случае они могли себе позволить плавно кружить над обрабатываемой деревней столько, сколько нужно для прокручивания выпуска новостей, а потом перелетать к следующей. Для уменьшения скорости полета машины получили увеличенные предкрылки, уменьшившие скорость сваливания.
